Walk For Animals: Inaugural Team Cozy Canine Coffee

On May 4, 2024, the very first Team Cozy Canine Coffee assembled for San Diego Humane Society’s Walk For Animals 2024 at Liberty Station! For weeks leading up to the walk, this team of thirty wonderful humans raised donations for our animal rescue partner, San Diego Humane Society. Our goal was $1,000 — but with everyone’s help, we were able to DOUBLE our goal and raise $2,276. I was and still am blown away by the generosity of the team and the folks that donated. It warms my heart to know that we get to be part of this community of folks with such big hearts of their own!

The experience on the day of was great! The team got to meet up before the walk to get our team shirts to match and some goodies and have the pups meet. For a lot of people on our team it was the first big pack walk for their dogs and it was a great training opportunity for everyone! We walked with thousands of people and their pups around Liberty Station and the energy was warm and inviting.
